About Theresa
I am a certified integrative health coach, specializing in hormonal health. I am currently training to become a Breema practitioner, to provide bodywork for people who are seeking more harmony in their lives. My approach is inspired by the Breema principles and works with the three centers (Breema) - mind, body, and feelings. My belief is that through the mind/body connection we really get to know and see ourselves better, and this is where the real healing begins. It begins with our ability to understand ourselves and our potential to increase our own vitality. Our work together will not only improve your health, but improve all other areas of your life as well. Healing is a beautiful, creative process, encouraging us to explore ourselves deeply, and to cultivate connection to the body while falling in love with ourselves and life.
I find joy in the little things, marrying all things beauty, design, and ritual to create more meaning in my own life. I live more slowly and intentionally, always bringing more depth and joy. I value simplicity and ease, but I remember being consumed by the all or nothing way of thinking in my work and life. I had to do it all and it had to be perfect. This led to burnout, many times. I wasn’t living in integrity with my values. I wanted more freedom, more ease, more fun. I wanted to feel more alive. I had to become radically honest with myself. This honesty with myself, combined with my insatiable curiosity have led me on a path of exploration into my own health and well-being.
As I continued to invest in my own healing and health studies, I began to learn more about the inner workings of my own body, and understanding how the mind, body, and feelings are all connected. I understood the larger role of our hormones and the unique design of women’s bodies. This deepened my passion for beauty and women’s health—women’s cycles, bodies, hormones, and menstrual health. When I came across the Filipino(Tagalog) word DILAG, which means beauty or beautiful woman and later listened to John O’Donohue’s interview with Kristin Tippett about beauty on her podcast ON BEING, I realized that beauty is the very essence of the work and the service I wanted to bring into the world.
My goal is to provide a one of a kind experience, one that will make you feel supported, special, and beloved, and in the process help you to see the value and worthiness in all that you are - A true QUEEN!
You have so much to offer the world and we are just getting started.
